Jenny Sisk fell in love with dyeing after becoming fascinated by all the beautiful hand-dyed skeins in her family’s Dublin yarn store. Her next move was to launch Townhouse Yarns - producing her own line of hand-dyed luxury yarns - building the collection around her own playful sense of colour and the input of the wider This is Knit community. Always experimenting and innovating with different colourways and methods of dyeing, she likes to think of her style as constantly evolving. She also loves the challenge of custom dyeing. Mood boards provided by designers and retailers have led to some of her all-time favourite creations. Jenny prefers to dye on traditional luxury-fibre bases such as merino and silk, making sure that her yarns always knit up into projects to be proud of.
